The Story of the Wild Dog
Before he was a Wild Dog, Dusty Gwinn was simply a West Virginia kid obsessed with sports and competition.
There is no question of the impact of a coach, a parent, or a team can have on one’s life.
It started early for Dusty when he morphed from a child to an athlete during his time in junior high/middle school at Stratton Junior High in Beckley, West Virginia.
Learning how to make a tackle, move your feet on defense, lift weights, and how to believe and breed loyalty in your teammates, to your team, and yourself are all principles that were instilled in Dusty as a Stratton BullDOG. The concept of one team working together to achieve a common goal was launched.
Evolving into a determined and focused competitor, Dusty followed in his father’s footsteps at Meadow Bridge High School. Dusty learned to fight, never give up, to think, to appreciate and to respect athletic competition and he learned to approach each day with reckless abandon as a Meadow Bridge WILDcat.
Dusty has since built his career as an agent, attorney, and entrepreneur at West Virginia University (WVU)—doing so at home in West Virginia where Mountaineers are always free,
Wild Dog Pro represents athletes and entertainers worldwide and holds athlete agent registration licenses in North Carolina, Ohio, and West Virginia.
As loyal as a DOG and as fierce as the WILD, Dusty has carried these core values over to the sports and entertainment industries to help others achieve their dreams. As a Wild Dog—family is everywhere.
